The Pellet Measuring Station with Roller Conveyor is built as a roller conveyor with additional steel frame for the dose rate and height measurement. It is able to receive the Pellets to measure their height and dose rate and forward the measured Pellets for further processing (e.g. Porta Crane, Turn Table etc.).
The Pellet Measuring Station with Roller Conveyor is equipped with appropriate height (infrared measurement) and dose rate measurement (gamma probe tubes). The pellet measuring is performed automatically and the results of the measuring are registered by the control system of the Facility. The minimal accuracy for the pellet height measurement is ± 5 mm. The possible crowning of the pellets is considered and the maximum measured pellet height is registered.
The dose rate measuring is performed at the pellet side, at a distance of 10 mm from the pellet surface. During the measuring the Probe fo dose rate measurement is turned about 360° around the pellet. The maximum dose rate value measured is registered by the control system of the Facility.
The Pellet Measuring Station can be produced also with chain conveyor.
